V8 lets you call any country in the world at exceptionally low rates, when you dial 449 from any Vodafone NZ mobile in NZ. There is no charge to call 449, you only pay V8 rates from when your international call connects.

V8 calling rates listed here are effective from 14 July 2009. Rates displayed include GST. A connection fee of 19c applies to every call. Rates and charges are subject to change without prior notice. All calls are billed in one minute increments unless otherwise stated. Total call cost is rounded up to the nearest 5 cents. Rates apply 24 hours, 7 days a week. V8's stated rates are available when calling from a Vodafone NZ mobile in NZ using the access code 449. Calls from a Vodafone NZ mobile to another NZ mobile or landline number will not be connected via 449. V8 can be used to make national and international calls from NZ landlines and non-Vodafone mobiles by dialling the local access number for your area. Calls to V8's local access numbers will be charged to your phone by your phone or toll provider. Calls to international mobiles and premium services may incur additional charges. Card value expires 3 months after first use or last recharge.
